07-04-2006· All of my Java ferns are growing happily on rocks but I do have some Anubias "planted" and what I do to keep you from seeing any roots that are out of the gravel or the rhizome is I plant it behind a piece of driftwood that I don't want to tie it to, this way you cant see the "ugly" bits of the plant.
